Privacy Policy

Personal identification information

When you register, we collect your email address. You may also optionally provide a display name. We collect only the minimum information required to provide the service.

Financial data you enter

All financial data you enter into the App (accounts, transactions, savings goals, commitments, assets, subscriptions) is stored securely in your account. This data belongs to you and is never shared with third parties.

Non-personal usage information

With your consent, we may collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, features used) via Google Analytics to understand how the App is used and improve it. This data cannot identify you personally.

To provide the service

Your email is used for account authentication, password resets, and service notifications.

To improve the App

Anonymised usage data (only collected with your consent) helps us identify which features are most used and where improvements are needed.

To communicate with you

We may send transactional emails (account confirmation, security alerts) and, if you opt in, product update emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on servers in the United States. By using the App, you consent to your data being processed there.

Security measures

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Database access is protected by row-level security — no user can access another user's data. We implement industry-standard security practices.

No data selling

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information to any third party, ever.

Essential cookies

We use session cookies required for authentication. These cannot be disabled without breaking the login functionality.

Analytics cookies

With your explicit consent, we use Google Analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can decline these via the cookie banner and the App will continue to work fully.

Your choice

You can change your cookie preference at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage and reloading the App — the consent banner will reappear.

Right to access

You can export all your data at any time from Settings → Export Data.

Right to deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Right to correction

You can edit any data you've entered directly within the App.

Right to portability

Your data can be exported in CSV format from the App.

EU/EEA users

If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have rights under GDPR. For any data requests, contact us at support@smartgridstudio.com.

Supabase

Google Analytics

Resend

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

The App is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
